Project partner elected best baker in the world

Elizabete Ferreira, a partner of Pão de Gimonde, received the World's Best Baker 2024 award at the World Congress of Bakers and Confectioners in Venice.

We are delighted and proud to announce that our partner Elizabete Ferreira, of Pão
de Gimonde, received the World’s Best Baker 2024 award at the
World Congress of Bakers and Confectioners, which took place October 19-23 in Venice.
She is the first woman to receive this prestigious award. The award given by the
International Association of Bakers and Confectioners is an international recognition of her excellence and dedication to the preservation of the art of baking and pastry making.
