The Project

The TRANSCOLAB PLUS project arises from the need to give continuity to the successful results of the TRANSCOLAB project, (2nd call POCTEP) whose objective was the promotion of a Sustainable Agri-food Cross-border Collaborative Laboratory.

The creation of a collaborative agenda has laid the foundation for the thematic research network on Innovation in the Cereal Agri-Food Sector.

Thanks to this collaborative network, needs and opportunities for improving research and innovation capabilities have been detected, as well as the implementation of advanced technologies in the cereal industry, mainly related to the valorization of by-products and wastes from the food sector.The network has also helped to implement advanced technologies in the cereal industry, mainly related to the valorization of by-products and wastes from the food sector, leading the sector towards practices based on a greener and more circular economy.
