Seminar on the use of by-products

Seminar given to students of the 4th year of the Degree in Agri-Food Engineering, on 4/12/2023 at the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Zamora.

The students of the Degree in Agri-Food Engineering have to take in 4th year the subject of Management and Use of by-products. Within the framework of the Transcolab project, students were offered to attend a seminar given by Mr. Carlos Fernández Vasallo, General Plant Manager at MOLENDUM INGREDIENTS, which is one of the companies participating in the project. For two hours, the students learned about the reality of the flour industry and the management and use of by-products in it. After the talk, they were able to hold a discussion with the lecturer on the future challenges of the sector to achieve sustainable production.
