Visit to a bakery products factory with the students of the Master's Degree in Agronomic Engineering. They visited the facilities and received a talk on sustainable management.

As part of the training received by students enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Salamanca, visits are made to food industries in the sector. These visits aim to contribute to the development of the skills required for the degree, such as the ability to develop and apply proprietary technology in agri-food industry production systems, while assessing the need to implement sustainable production systems. In the 2024-25 academic year, as part of the TRANSCOLAB Plus programme, a visit was made to Dulca S.L., a company dedicated to the manufacture of sweets and pastries, located in Peñaranda de Bracamonte (Salamanca).

In addition to visiting the facilities, our students learned about by-product management, as well as how to utilise and repurpose them.
