Exclusive Visit to the Molinos del Duero Flour Factory

On 25 June, an exclusive event will take place in Zamora to discover first-hand the process of transforming cereal into flour and to learn about innovation, sustainability and circular economy initiatives applied to the agri-food sector within the framework of the TransCoLab Plus project.

The activity will begin at La Harinera Eventos with a brief presentation of the project and the lines of work that Molinos del Duero is developing in areas such as cereal valorisation, sustainability and the creation of new opportunities for the sector.

Participants will then take part in a technical visit to the Molinos del Duero facilities, where they will learn about the milling process, how the mills operate and the different production stages, from the reception of the cereal to the production of flour.

The event will conclude with a guided tasting of breads and other products, during which the characteristics of the different flours used will be presented, as well as their connection with the project’s objectives of innovation and valorisation of local products.

The activity is aimed at agri-food companies, bakeries, artisan workshops, cooperatives, training centres, organisations linked to rural development and professionals interested in innovation, sustainability and the circular economy applied to the agri-food sector.

With a limited capacity of 20 participants, this visit represents an excellent opportunity to discover a working flour industry from the inside, exchange experiences with professionals from the sector and explore new possibilities for innovation and development in the agri-food chain.
